Dodge A100 Pickup 1970

This 1970 Dodge A100 was acquired by the seller in May of 2022. The previous owner stated that they refurbished the carburetor and replaced the upholstery, radiator, ignition components, front brake cylinders, front axle bearings, wheels, and tires as well as the valve cover gaskets, oil pan, and exhaust components. The truck is finished in green and powered by a 225ci slant-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, a steel front bumper, dual side mirrors, and a split windshield. 

The A100 was offered in van and pickup variants and featured a unibody cab-over-engine design over a 90″ wheelbase. This example was reportedly refinished in its current shade of green under previous ownership and features dual side-view mirrors, a latching tailgate, a steel front bumper, and a single exhaust outlet. Rust is noted on the driver-side bed panel, and additional exterior blemishes. The backup lights do not work and running lights do not work. 

US Mags 15″ wheels are equipped with knock-offs and wear 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Work under pervious ownership reportedly included replacing the front brake cylinders and axle bearings.

The seats are said to have been reupholstered under previous ownership and are trimmed in two-tone black and gray vinyl. The seller notes that the door armrests and floor mats were also replaced under current ownership.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph horizontal-sweep speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 10 miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 225ci slant-six sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Service under current ownership is said to have included refurbishing the carburetor and replacing the valve cover gaskets, oil pan, radiator, and belts as well as the distributor cap and rotor, and the spark plugs and wires.

A Dorman exhaust manifold was installed in November 2021.

An Oregon Assigned Identification Number tag is mounted on the firewall. The seller notes that the factory VIN plate was removed during paintwork under previous ownership.
