This 1972 Jaguar XKE 2+2 was delivered new to British Leyland Motors New York. The car is finished in Pale Primrose Yellow over black leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15″ knock-off wire wheels, chrome-finished bumpers with overriders, quad Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, an SNG Barrat ignition system, a custom exhaust system, and Wilwood front brake calipers. Service performed in preparation for the sale consisted of repairing the ignition module and replacing the battery, spark plugs, fan switches, fuel level sender, and fluids. This XKE is now offered for sale with a Clear Montana Title.

The car is finished in Pale Primrose Yellow, and equipment includes bonnet louvers, chrome bumpers with overriders, factory tinted glass, front mud flaps, and polished stainless steel exhaust tips. In August 2021, dents were removed from the bonnet and it was subsequently refinished.

Chrome 15″ wire wheels with S3 spinners are mounted with Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 tires. Wilwood disc brakes with new rotors are fitted in front, and the rear rotors are mounted inboard. The seller states that recent service included replacing the master and servo cylinders and rear caliper bleeder extensions as well as installing braided stainless flex lines.

The 2+2 cabin features seating trimmed in black leather as well as a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center armrest, locking glove box, and a heater. The seller notes the air conditioning does not blow cold.

The 5.3-liter V12 is equipped with four Zenith-Stromberg carburetors that were rebuilt and fitted with new fuel lines, bowl plugs, and custom K&N air filters. Additional equipment includes powder coated valve covers, intake manifolds, and air trumpets, a custom cooling fan with manual switches, an aluminum radiator, an SNG Barrat ignition system with NGK spark plugs and Magnecor wires, a high-torque starter, an 80-amp alternator, and a custom exhaust system with Bell stainless steel downpipes and custom stainless steel powder coated bullet mufflers. Service performed in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the battery, spark plugs, fan switches, motor and transmission mounts, thermostats, fuel level sender, belts, and fluids, and repairing the ignition module. Compression test readings can be provided.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.

A Jaguar Heritage Certificate is included with the sale and lists the engine, gearbox, chassis, and body numbers along with a manufacture date of June 5, 1972.
