This 2011 Ariel Atom is power by a Honda-sourced 2.0-liter K20Z3 inline-four mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The chassis is finished in black and features white and clear bodywork, and equipment includes a Racetech steering wheel, a fire suppression system, Kirkey bucket seats, a Wilwood pedal set and brake calipers, QA1 adjustable dampers with Hyperco coilover springs, and 15″ alloy wheels.
The Atom features a powder-coated tubular space-frame chassis with an integrated roll bar. This example is finished in black with white and clear bodywork accented by decals. Equipment includes an external electrical cutoff along with a rear brake light and dual side mirrors.
Five-spoke 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Hoosier competition tires. SRA series QA1 adjustable dampers with Hyperco coilover springs are fitted at each corner, and stopping power is provided by Wilwood calipers with slotted rotors.
The cockpit features fixed-back Kirkey racing seats along with a restraint net and Schroth harnesses. A fire extinguisher is mounted to the central chassis tunnel, and additional equipment includes a fire suppression system, and a Wilwood pedal set.
